Hope for Newcomers is a community-based non-profit organization in Calgary dedicated to supporting immigrants, refugees, and newcomer families as they build their lives in Canada. Rooted in three pillars of self-reliance – personal growth, professional growth and social integration, the organization provides accessible, culturally responsive programs that help newcomers overcome settlement challenges, strengthen their confidence, and integrate successfully into their new communities.
Hope for Newcomers was established in 2025 to address the real and often complex needs of individuals and families navigating language barriers, cultural transitions, emotional stress, and the practical demands of resettlement. The organization’s work is grounded in the belief that every newcomer deserves to feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to thrive.
